Your privacy matters. This policy explains what information I collect, how I use it, and what rights you have. It applies to this website and any services provided through Leaf & Laptop Remote Assistant.

Who I Am
Leaf & Laptop Remote Assistant is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Rebecca Kuckkan, based in Wisconsin. You can reach me at hello@leafandlaptop.co.

What Information I Collect
Information you give me directly:
When you fill out a contact form, book a consultation, or hire me for a project, you may share your name, email address, business name, and any other details you include in your message. I only collect what you choose to send.
Information collected automatically:
Like most websites, this site may collect basic technical data when you visit—things like your browser type, device, pages viewed, and approximate location. This is standard website analytics and is not linked to your identity.
Email list:
If you subscribe to my email list, I collect your name and email address. That's it.

How I Use Your Information
Information you share with me is used to:

Respond to your inquiry or complete your project
Send emails you've subscribed to or requested
Invoice you and process payments
Improve how this website works

I don't sell your information. I don't trade it. I don't share it with outside parties except where necessary to run my business (see below).

Third-Party Tools
I use three outside tools to run this business. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data:

Cookies
This site may use cookies—small text files stored on your device—to keep the site functioning and to understand how visitors use it. Google Analytics in particular uses cookies to track site traffic. You can adjust cookie settings in your browser at any time. Disabling cookies may affect how some parts of the site work.

Email Communications
If you're on my email list, you subscribed voluntarily. Every email I send through Kit includes an unsubscribe link. Click it anytime and you'll be removed promptly. I don't send spam, and I don't share your email address with anyone.

Data Retention
I keep client project files and communications for a reasonable period after a project wraps, primarily for tax and record-keeping purposes. Email subscribers remain on my list until they unsubscribe. You can request deletion of your information at any time (see below).

Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Know what personal information I hold about you
Request a copy of your data
Ask me to correct or delete your information
Opt out of marketing emails at any time

Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
