Clear messaging and seamless tech setup for wellness entrepreneurs and creatives.

You don’t need another late-night spiral. You need support.

You open the doc. You reread the last paragraph. You tweak a sentence that was probably fine. You convince yourself it just needs "one more pass."

Meanwhile, the email still isn't scheduled and the workflow you meant to clean up last week is quietly waiting for you.

You're not bad at this. You're tired. And trying to write, edit, publish, and manage the backend on your own is stretching you thinner than it needs to.

Oh good, it's the 11 PM content spiral again.

-Jackie D.

She takes the things that feel overwhelming and gets them done. I trust her completely - once something’s in her hands, it’s handled. And somehow, she manages to make the process fun. Her upbeat attitude and unexpectedly delightful responses bring so much lightness to the work. She’s consistently positive, always delivers on time, and deeply reliable. Because when Becky’s involved, I get to stay focused on my work and trust that the rest is taken care of.

Becky is the kind of support that makes you wonder how you ever did it alone.

Steady, voice-led support that keeps your emails, podcast, and blog content moving. I handle the writing and the rhythm so your message shows up consistently.
Priority support. Fewer open loops.

Ongoing Messaging | starting at $675

One-off projects when you just need it done. Website refreshes, email sequences, sales pages, or that blog post you’ve rewritten six times. I step in, clarify the message, write it in your voice, and structure it to be both search-friendly and human-readable. Then I hand it back ready to send.

Project- Based | starting at $350

Some seasons call for focused help on a specific project. A website refresh. A launch that needs clear messaging. A draft that's been sitting in limbo for months.

Other seasons call for steady, ongoing support—someone who knows your voice, understands your rhythm, and just handles it.

Both options are built around clarity and follow-through. The goal isn't more content. It's finished work that sounds like you and actually gets published.

Writing that sounds like you—
finished, published, and off your plate.

When your messaging is in place, this package builds the structure underneath it. I implement your lead magnets, nurture sequences, and core automations so your audience moves through a thoughtful, well-supported journey from inquiry to booking.

Workflow Integration | $997

Core behind-the-scenes setup for businesses that need their essential tools connected and working properly. I configure your email platform, scheduler, Canva, and HoneyBook so everything runs smoothly and stays that way.

Tech Foundations | $497

I set up the behind-the-scenes tools that keep your business moving: email platforms, scheduling workflows, HoneyBook automations, and the small connecting details most people don't notice until they're missing.

The goal isn’t more tech. It’s steady systems that work the way they should—consistently, calmly, and without you having to manage them.

Clean structure. Clear workflows. Reliable follow-through. Systems that continue running well long after the project wraps.

The behind-the-scenes setup that makes your business feel effortless

-Melinda f.

She handles everything seamlessly with incredible organization and ease. From website and YouTube updates to Calendly scheduling, HoneyBook workflows, Stripe integration, and Mailchimp, her turnaround time is impressively fast.

She has a creative eye that elevates every project, making each piece feel perfectly aligned with my vision. More than that, she has a huge heart and takes the time to really get to know you, which makes working with her feel personal and supportive.

I also truly value our time difference—while I’m in LA, Becky is already getting things done in Wisconsin, which keeps everything moving effortlessly. Knowing she’s behind the scenes managing all the details allows me to focus on what I do best.

If you’re looking for someone who is reliable, thoughtful, and incredibly creative behind the scenes, Becky is it.

Working with Becky has been a complete game-changer for my business.

You think the problem is that you’re not working hard enough, not being visible enough, not keeping up. But the real issue is simpler: you’re trying to carry all of it—the strategy, the writing, the tech, the follow-through. That’s not a productivity problem. It’s a bandwidth problem. You don't need to push harder. You need someone who handles the pieces that were never yours to carry alone.

And it’s okay to put some of it down.

You’re not behind.
You’re just carrying too much.

Frequently asked questions

Who do you work with?

Leaf & Laptop is built for wellness entrepreneurs, holistic health practitioners, and soul-led creatives—the coaches, podcasters, therapists, nutritionists, yoga teachers, energy workers, web-designers, photographers, and whole-person healers who are really good at what they do and really tired of trying to write about it (or figure out why their inbox is running their life).

If your work is rooted in transformation, connection, or whole-person wellbeing—and your messaging or backend systems don't quite reflect that yet—you're probably exactly who I'm talking to.

Most clients come to me at one of three moments: they're just starting out and want to get things set up right from the beginning, they've been winging it for a while and are ready to stop, or they're growing and need their systems and messaging to grow with them.

Wherever you are, we'll figure out what you actually need—and build from there.

What's the difference between a copywriter, a content writer, and a copyrighter?

Great question, and one that saves us both a lot of confusion upfront.

Copywriting is writing designed to move someone toward a specific action—your website pages, sales pages, email sequences, opt-in forms. It's strategic, conversion-focused, and built around your ideal client.

Content writing educates, nurtures, and builds trust over time—think blog posts, newsletters, and podcast show notes. It's less "buy this now" and more "here's why you can trust me."

Copyrighting (with a "right") is the legal process of protecting intellectual property. Totally different field, totally different people. Not my lane. I'm firmly in the first two.

What's your take on AI-generated content? Do you use it?

Honest answer: yes, I use AI tools—for research, brainstorming, and getting ideas unstuck. They're genuinely useful for that.

But there's a meaningful difference between AI as a tool and AI as the final product. And in a world where everyone's content is starting to sound the same, that difference matters more than ever.

What AI can't do is sit across from you, ask the right questions, and figure out what makes your work different from the seventeen other coaches in your niche. It can't catch the specific way you explain things, or write in a voice that sounds like you on your best day.

That's the part that requires a real person. So yes, I use AI—but the copy that leaves my desk sounds human, because it is.

What is backend setup, and why do I need it?

Backend setup is the behind-the-scenes infrastructure that makes your business run without you having to manually do everything.

Right now, you might be sending invoices through PayPal, scheduling appointments through a string of back-and-forth emails, following up with clients by hand, and sending every email from your personal Gmail. It works—technically—but it's eating your time and energy alive.

Backend setup means building the systems that handle all of that for you. Automated welcome emails. Online scheduling. Contracts and invoices that go out without you touching them. Client onboarding that runs itself so you can get back to the part of your business only you can do.

I'm overwhelmed by all the tools out there. Where do I even start?

You and everyone else. The tool landscape for small businesses is genuinely a lot—and most of the advice out there assumes you have time to research, test, and compare seventeen platforms. You don't.

Here's the honest truth: you probably need less than you think. Most early-stage businesses need three things: a way to get paid, a way to communicate with clients, and a way to get them on your calendar. Everything else is optional until you actually need it.

I've rounded up some of the platforms I work with and trust over on my resources page.

Not sure which one is right for you? That's part of what we figure out together.

Can you help with both the writing AND the tech setup?

You betcha—and honestly, that combo is where the magic happens.

Systems without good copy are just empty automations. Copy without systems means you're still doing everything manually. When both are set up well, your business can nurture, onboard, and communicate with clients even when you're not at your desk.

A lot of clients start with one side and end up wanting help with both. Whether you need words, systems, or the whole thing, we'll figure out what makes the most sense for where you are right now.

I'm not totally sure what I need. Can you still help?

Yep, that's actually the most common way people show up. They know something isn't working—or they know they need to get things set up properly—but they're not sure exactly what to ask for.

That's what the discovery call is for. We'll talk through where you are, what's feeling stuck or chaotic, and what would actually move the needle. Sometimes that's a full website rewrite. Sometimes it's a cleaner onboarding flow or a welcome sequence that finally goes out automatically.

You don't need to show up with a perfect brief. You just need to show up.
